Court Orsborn: “Next generation strategies for PBMs – from opaque to transparent in 60 minutes”

It’s no small undertaking to review your PBM service components and financial structures, whether you use a PBM to support your pool’s health program, workers’ compensation program, or both.  The tangle of pricing structures for drug discounts, rebates, formularies, clinical management, and other service components is complex, and service level agreements can be hard to implement in ways that let your pool truly measure performance.  This session will provide the industry context and pooling specific examples you need to consider unbundling PBM services, whether to RFP or renegotiate, and how you can ultimately optimize your PBM.
